Problems with sound?

If Auralia or Musition does not play any MIDI sound, here are two things to check:

Correct MIDI instrument selected

• Open the Control Panel,
• Select Multimedia,
• Select MIDI
• Check that the correct instrument is selected under Single Instrument.

Correct MIDI volume settings

• Open the Windows Volume Control by double-clicking the smaller speaker icon in the bottom right of the desktop;
• Check that MIDI is not muted,
• Increase the volume for MIDI if necessary.
